Ultio Crati (also known as UC) is a small apparel and tactical apparel manufacturer based out of Chicago, IL. As our business has grown since we were founded we have grown from operating heavily in the apparel embellishment business to focusing on manufacturing the highest quality apparel around. Our focus has primarily been to bring quality, American made apparel to governmental and institutional buyers in the United States to help strengthen and invigorate our nation’s industrial base. As we continue growing it is (and has been) imperative for us to gain and maintain relationships with other companies in the industry across the country that have similar missions to us.

From our humble beginnings to what we have grown into, Ultio Crati has had to not only power through adversity but be agile enough to operate in adverse business conditions and adapt to new industries/environments. Whether it pertained to bracing the storm of uncertainty that COVID brought to all businesses in the United States or dealing with government organizations across the country we have prevailed with each challenge that has come. Through everything, good and bad, we have deepened our institutional knowledge of government contracting and manufacturing which has put us in a unique position. UC can not only help strengthen American manufacturing in a sector that has been a staple for American industry for decades (textile manufacturing) but also can begin working towards adding an invaluable tool for our DIB and GIB here within CONUS.

That has led us to build a marketplace designed for GPC’s and P-Card holders buying for our government’s everyday needs and as well as organizations that support our government in the efforts. Our marketplace, Marketplace for Acquisition of Strategic Supply (also known as MPASS), is a HUBZone Certified GPC marketplace which brings American made, “reportable” products to the forefront for federal and municipal credit card buyers but also institutional organizations that also have to meet certain federal and municipal spending requirements. Instead of supplying products that become hard for governmental and institutional buyers to buy in “smaller” quantities (because of the regulations their respective buying activity has in place) we work with American owned manufacturers and suppliers on making their products as close as possible to order for those buyers. At the end of the day, if it becomes harder for our government (federal and municipal) to buy not only what they need but things that fall within their respective procurement regulations then it will be harder for each governmental organization to focus on their missions: we want to eliminate scenarios even close to that scary sight.
